Cookies, analytics & advertising
With your explicit consent, this site uses cookies set by Google for two purposes:
- Google Analytics 4 (GA4), anonymous audience measurement (page views, navigation paths). IP addresses are truncated; we do not collect names, e-mail addresses or phone numbers through GA4.
- Google Ads, measuring the performance of our advertising campaigns (conversion tracking, remarketing). Cookies in this category are only set if you accept the advertising signals in the consent banner.
Both stacks are gated by Google Consent Mode v2: every signal is denied by default, and no Google script is loaded until you click Accept in the cookie banner. Your decision is stored in a first-party cookie scoped to your browser for 6 months. You can change it at any time by clearing your site cookies and reloading the page, the banner will reappear.
With that same consent, we also use Microsoft Clarity, a behaviour analytics tool (heatmaps and anonymised session replays: scrolls, clicks, mouse movements). Clarity masks the text you type in forms by default, and it is never loaded before you click Accept in the cookie banner. See Microsoft’s privacy statement.

Terms of sale
Article 1, Parties, object and acceptance
1.1 Parties
These terms of sale are entered into by SAVIN (RCS Grasse A 819 129 776), on the one hand, and any natural or legal person wishing to purchase a service to be performed by SAVIN, on the other hand.
1.2 Object
These terms of sale govern the contractual relationship between SAVIN and the client and the conditions applicable to any booking. SAVIN acts as a culinary service provider.
1.3 Acceptance of the terms of sale
Booking a service implies unreserved acceptance by the client of these terms of sale. The client acknowledges having read, prior to signing the quote, the terms of sale attached to the quote provided by SAVIN.
These terms of sale prevail over any other general or specific conditions not expressly agreed to by SAVIN, which reserves the right to modify them at any time. The version applicable to the client's purchase is the one in force on the day the contract is concluded.
Article 2, Characteristics of the goods and services offered
The services offered are those listed on the quote. It is the client's responsibility to verify the accuracy of the order and to immediately report any error.
SAVIN offers several culinary services, with detailed descriptions, bookable for a minimum and maximum number of guests. Photographs, diagrams, drawings or video clips illustrating the services are not part of the contractual scope between SAVIN and the client.
SAVIN reserves the right to publish photographs of dishes prepared during the service at the client's venue. The private-chef service takes the seasonality and availability of produce into account; should a proposed service prove impossible due to seasonality or supply, SAVIN will inform the client and propose an alternative of equivalent value.
Article 3, Pricing of the goods and services offered
3.1 Service pricing
The prices of the culinary services are those shown on the quote.
The price of a culinary service does not include the purchase of food and beverages, SAVIN's travel (within a 40 km radius around its registered office in Vence, 06140), the service proper, or the clean-up of the working area.
Beyond ten (10) guests, the option including a table-service crew is mandatory, with SAVIN staff dedicated exclusively to serving the guests. Any additional option will be subject to a separate quote.
The total amount invoiced is calculated according to the menu chosen and the number of guests. Prices on the quote are expressed in euros, before and after tax, at the rate applicable on the day of the order; any change in the tax rate may be passed on to the service price. SAVIN reserves the right to modify prices at any time, it being understood that the price shown on the quote is the only one applicable to the client.
3.2 Travel expenses
SAVIN is entitled to invoice the client directly for travel expenses when the venue lies outside the area referred to in article 3.1; the amount of such invoicing will be indicated on the quote.
3.3 Overtime
SAVIN will arrive at the venue at least 2 hr 30 before the service starts and will officiate at the latest four (4) hours after the service has begun.
Beyond that limit, an overtime surcharge per officiating crew member will be invoiced at the rate shown on the quote. A 50 % surcharge will additionally apply to any hours counted after midnight. Overtime is tallied at the end of the service and gives rise to an additional invoice payable immediately.
3.4 Goods
SAVIN sources the goods for the client within the budget allocated by the client. The client undertakes to reimburse the amount spent, upon presentation of receipts or invoices, no later than the day of the event.
Article 4, Booking conditions
4.1 Booking conditions
Any client wishing to purchase a service must read these terms of sale, read and accept the quote drawn up by SAVIN, and make payment in the manner provided by SAVIN in order to confirm the order.
Any service must be booked at least seven (7) calendar days before the date the service is to be performed by SAVIN, that date being stated on the quote. This timeframe allows a preliminary discussion between SAVIN and the client to jointly determine the scope of the service and assess the equipment to be made available by the client for SAVIN's use.
The signature of the quote provided by SAVIN, together with the effective payment of the deposit, constitute acceptance of the terms and conditions of the quote and of these terms of sale, and accordingly the booking of the service.
SAVIN does not perform services for children under the age of four (4).
At the latest seven (7) calendar days before the service date, the client must inform SAVIN in writing of any food intolerance affecting any person present on the day of the service, by emailing [email protected] / [email protected].
4.2 Confirmation of the order
An order on quote is considered final by SAVIN only after payment of a deposit of 35 % of the total amount of the order shown on the quote; that payment entails acceptance of these terms of sale, acknowledgement of having read them in full, waiver of any other conditions, and unreserved acceptance of the quote. All data provided and the confirmation of payment serve as proof of the order's confirmation.
SAVIN reserves the right to cancel or refuse any order from a client with whom a dispute exists regarding payment of a previous order.
4.3 Payment terms
The price is payable as follows:
- A deposit equal to 35 % of the amount on the quote, paid on the date the quote is accepted; the booking only becomes effective once that deposit is paid.
- The balance, paid at the latest seven (7) calendar days before the date the service is to be performed.
Should the balance not be paid, SAVIN will be obliged to cancel the order without refund of the deposit.
SAVIN accepts payment of sums due:
- by bank transfer;
- by Bitcoin;
- by WISE;
- by PayPal.
An invoice is issued by SAVIN and provided to the client after full payment of the performed service, showing the amount of VAT.
Article 5, Cancellation and modification by the client
Cancellation of the order by the client does not give rise to any refund of the deposit, which is retained as a flat-rate indemnity.
Any cancellation occurring less than eight (8) calendar days before the date the service is to be performed entails the obligation to pay 100 % of the order's gross amount as stated on the quote.
Any modification of the terms and conditions of the service to be performed as stated on the quote, and in particular an increase in the number of participants, may be made by the client at the latest three (3) calendar days before the date the service is to be performed. The terms and conditions of the quote, including any upward modification of the total gross amount, will then be amended accordingly, subject to SAVIN's express agreement.
Article 6, Cancellation and modification by SAVIN
SAVIN shall be released from its obligation to perform the service and may suspend its performance if it is unable to fulfil it in the event of force majeure within the meaning of article 1218 of the French Civil Code, and in particular in cases of illness, war, riots, demonstrations or exceptional weather conditions, this list not being exhaustive. In all circumstances, SAVIN undertakes to refund the entirety of the sums received for the event it cancels.
Article 7, Client's obligations
The client must set the table, in particular with plates, cutlery and glasses. SAVIN nevertheless offers table-setting as an additional option, as well as tableware rental.
The venue and in particular the kitchen must be made available to SAVIN at least 2 hr 30 before the service starts. The kitchen must be clean, with the fridge and freezer partly free for food storage, the work surface clear, the bin emptied, the dishwasher empty, and cleaning products made available to SAVIN. The client authorises SAVIN to use any equipment available in the kitchen.
Article 8, Personal data
In the course of the commercial relationship with SAVIN, the latter may need to ask the client to provide personal data, in connection with the booking and performance of the service.
The term "personal data" means any data that allows an individual to be identified, which corresponds in particular to surnames, first names, postal and email addresses, telephone numbers, date of birth, data relating to the details of the service, and any other information the client chooses to provide.
Article 9, Liability
SAVIN's liability covers only the culinary service, to the exclusion of any other act, and in particular any act linked directly or indirectly to excessive consumption of alcohol by the client and/or any person present at the venue. SAVIN cannot under any circumstances be held liable for excessive consumption of alcohol by the client and/or any person present at the venue, who remain fully and solely responsible for their consumption.
SAVIN at no time has custody of minor guests. In the absence of sufficient adults to ensure the proper conduct and safety of minor guests, SAVIN will immediately end the service, without refund.
The client is solely liable, within the scope of their civil liability, for any bodily, material and immaterial damage caused by and to the equipment and to any persons present in connection with SAVIN's service.
Upon SAVIN's request, the client undertakes to provide proof of their civil liability insurance as well as a multi-risk home insurance policy. Without communication of this information at SAVIN's first request, and for safety reasons, SAVIN reserves the right to cancel the service without any compensation being owed.
Article 10, Notice
Any notice to SAVIN must be sent:
- by email to [email protected] / [email protected];
- by telephone or SMS to +33 6 01 33 43 62;
- via the contact form on this site.
Article 11, Dispute resolution
These terms of sale are governed by French law and are written in French.
Any dispute arising from the service operations entered into under these terms of sale, concerning their validity, interpretation, performance, termination, consequences and aftermath, that could not be resolved amicably between SAVIN and the client shall be submitted to the competent courts under ordinary law.
The client is informed that they may, in any event, resort to conventional mediation, in particular before the Consumer Mediation Commission in accordance with article L. 612-1 of the French Consumer Code, before existing sector-specific mediation bodies, or through any alternative dispute-resolution method (conciliation, for example) in the event of a dispute.
Article 12, Pre-contractual information, Client's acceptance
The client acknowledges having been provided, prior to placing their order and concluding the contract, in a clear and comprehensible manner, with these terms of sale and with all the information listed in article L. 221-5 of the French Consumer Code, in particular:
- the essential characteristics of the services;
- the price of the services and any ancillary fees;
- the date on which SAVIN undertakes to perform the services ordered;
- information regarding SAVIN's identity, postal, telephone and electronic contact details, and activities;
- information regarding the statutory and contractual guarantees and how they may be invoked;
- the option of resorting to conventional mediation in the event of a dispute.
The fact, for any person, of placing an order for services entails full adherence to and acceptance of these terms of sale, and the obligation to pay for the services. This is expressly acknowledged by the client, who waives in particular the right to invoke any contrary document, which shall be unenforceable against SAVIN.
